Rental Assistance Application Information:
Eligibility:
Live in Washington County
Owe past due rent, utilities, or both
Low-income families or individuals
People who are currently housed or unhoused
Applicant cannot be enrolled in a rent assistance program

Required documents (we will request these when we begin processing your application):
Signed lease
Official ledger with proof of balance owed
Utility bill proving past due balance
Property W9 (we will request this from the leasing team)
Income documents (pay stubs)
Other requirements based on eligibility
Other information:
Payments can be made to property owners, property management, or collections agencies
Assistance cannot be used for trash, parking, renter’s insurance, cleaning charges.
Other restrictions may apply
Assistance cannot be used for current or future rent or utilities
Assistance can pay up to 6 months of past due rent and 6 months of past due utilities
